These little "reefs" give cover for the little fish which in turn draws bigger fish up to legal size reds and snook.

The pictures below were taken from the fishing pier I just turned around. They are north of the pier.


The big steel piling at the far left is a great place for sheephead and mangrove snapper.
Tankers, frighters berth here, good fishing, but be ready to move if needed. No fishing or boats allowed in slips since 9/11 Enforced by chopper from McDill A.F.B.
