And come join us in our quiet little piece of the world.  We left the hustle and bustle of suburbia almost 3 years ago and moved to the beautiful mountains of central Pennsylvania.  Life is slower, less stressful, the way that it should be.  People actually wave as you pass by even if they don't know who you are.  We just love it!

Nature is all around us.  In the fall season, we have to dodge the roaming deer while driving down the road instead of speeding motorists.  We're lucky if we even pass a car.  We used to be speed demons ourselves but now we drive like a little old couple with our heads turned watching the fields instead of the road.  We see bob whites flying in pairs, ruffled grouse and flocks of wild turkeys.  Black bear are seen higher up in the mountains, but we haven't seen one yet.  We would like to, from a distance.  Plenty of fishing in the creeks, Juniata River and, of course, Raystown Lake.  I think we actually fish more than anything else, especially for trout.
