Who we are:
Ever since
our inception in 1999, Troop 1750 has been a small troop.
Even though
we are small, we have produced our fair share of Eagle Scouts,
Usually small
units don’t appeal to a lot of parents and boys.
Why?
Because big units look busy and very active.
This can
sometimes be very deceiving, and usually only the “Type A” boys excel in a
large
unit, while
the quiet guys almost always get left behind.
The
majority of our scouts are boys who don’t want to become lost in a big group,
and who
enjoy the fellowship that a small unit offers.
Our troop
runs a program that focuses on the time proven aims and methods employed by the
BSA.
Yes, we
also do our best to run a Boy Run unit, where the Senior Patrol Leader is the
top dog in the group.
So, if your
son needs or desires the individualized attention that a small group offers,
then Troop
1750 just might be the right place for him.
Come give
us a look see.
