Who we are:

Ever since our inception in 1999, Troop 1750 has been a small troop.

Even though we are small, we have produced our fair share of Eagle Scouts,

Camp Councilors, OA Chapter Leadership members, and good leaders too.

Usually small units don’t appeal to a lot of parents and boys.

Why? Because big units look busy and very active.

This can sometimes be very deceiving, and usually only the “Type A” boys excel in a large

unit, while the quiet guys almost always get left behind.

The majority of our scouts are boys who don’t want to become lost in a big group,

and who enjoy the fellowship that a small unit offers.

Our troop runs a program that focuses on the time proven aims and methods employed by the BSA.

Yes, we also do our best to run a Boy Run unit, where the Senior Patrol Leader is the top dog in the group.

So, if your son needs or desires the individualized attention that a small group offers,

then Troop 1750 just might be the right place for him.

Come give us a look see.
