Oh what can I give to the Master,
The One who from sin sets me free?
I'll give Him a lifetime of service
to thank Him for dying for me!

Welcome to my website! For most of my life I have been climbing Colorado's Fourteeners, hiking, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, basically anything in the outdoors.  I was presented with a opportunity to do a Thru-Hike of the Appalachian Trail. So in the spring of 2000 I decided to take a semester off and Thru-Hike the Appalachian Trail.  It starts at Springer Mountian in Georgia and ends on the summit of the beautiful Mt. Katahdin in Maine.  It is 2167.1 miles of pure fun and torture, depends on the day! I started Febuary 22nd from Springer Mt.  and arrvied at the summit of  Katahdin on July 22nd.  It  has been the most rewarding thing that I have ever done. I hope this site can help answer  question or anything that deals with a thru-hike.
