And the trip goes on...to Pucón.  Nice little rhyme there.  A great little town too.  Like I said, it looks like it is in Vermont or New Hampshire area on a great lake just waiting for some water skiiers.  The only real difference is that there is a giant snow capped steaming volcanoe dominating the view just about everywhere in town.  Most times, there was even some steam coming out of the top.
The bus ride there was the best I have had since being in South America.  It was better than first class on a plane and only like $25US for a nice comfortable all night ride.  I was feeling refreshed and ready to go.  Granted, I headed for the hostal first because I wanted a shower.  It isn´t perfect but land travel in Chile is a heck of a lot better here than in Ecuador and Peru.  So, after that shower we hit the town.
Pucón is quite touristy if you ask me.  I guess alot of wealthier Chileans buy a house here.  Nice center of town though with cute shops to buy gifts.  Very different from all of the very poor places that I have been too so far.  Very pleasant and easy to get around tho.  It was nice to just kick back and relax and enjoy the warm weather, good food and great view even if surreal of the Villarrica volcanoe in the background.
The next day, we went horse back riding!  Yes, I learned to ride a horse.  Our instructor was from Venezuela and had taught the Olympic team up there.  We went all day on a private ride thru the mountains.  The horses were quite beautiful and knew exactly what to do even tho I might not have.  My horse and I came to an understanding after awhile, he would go where I wanted as long as I let him eat the passing vegetation whenever we paused.  It worked out great and we had a great day riding around in the mountains up to a cool volcanic lake.
