If you unhappy with your new string I will buy it back.
Why buy from me? Quality. Check out competitor strings. Are the loops twisted tightly? This is where strings normally fail. I twist my loops very tight and just before I start my loop I twist it up so tight so that it nearly knots up before I start the loop. This will make for a longer lasting string since the strands will not shift around and wear as quickly. My strings are made to strict specifications. If you want a string 58" long that is what you will get. I do not twist my strings up to get the length. I make the string about 3/4" shorter than ordered and stretch it till it seats at the proper length. End result? Your string is not all twisted up like a slinky and it is not gonna stretch. You will find that my strings creep very little and you do not have to continually tune your bow. Please check below the picture of what happens when you do not countertwist your bundles. If you have spent $300 or $1300 on your bow no sense in being thrifty on your string. My strings start at $9.00 for the standard two-color combination in B-50. The “accent” strings which are $10.00 have the two separate colors as well but I also incorporate one strand of a completely different color into each bundle to give the string an added “accent” All strings are served with nylon serving and tag ends are trimmed for a neat appearance. All B-50 colors being made now are available. Those colors include black, blue, brown, green, pink, red, tan, yellow and white. In serving I have black, brown, green, red, yellow, blue and white. I will need the weight and AMO of your bow and if you are undecided on the color scheme for an “accent” string let me know the glass colors and I will work one up for you. Also specify recurve or longbow so I can make the proper size loops. It would not hurt to specify the model of your bow/bows either. Some bows like Wing and Herters that have a radical recurve actually require a shorter string than the normal AMO standard. Shipping is $1.50 for less than three strings. Three strings or more receive free shipping. Insurance is mandatory on three strings or more. I will no longer replace strings that are lost in the mail. I urge everyone to invest $10 in a bow stringer. My favorite is the Bateman Stringer. I have found these at Lancaster Archery. Email to order bearbowman@comcast.net
Here are some other pics.
Twisting Detail
This is a string that I made for my 1965 Kodiak. This string would be geat on a early 60's Kodiak Hunter or Magnum too! These are $10.00
Here would be a string that I would put on my 66 Kodiaks. Also a great string on a Red Wing Hunter etc. They are $10.00 as well.
Here is a 2 1/2 year old string I recently took off my 50 lb 1964 Kodiak. I shoot this bow as often as any other bow I own. If I go rabbit hunting I grab this bow. If I am hunting in very cold weather I grab this bow. Stump shooting...........yep this is the one. I have ran at least 5000 shots through this bow. More I am sure. Heck I don't count. The string is not a 16 strand as I would usually make. It is only 14 strand. You can see that they will hold up. The string is still serviceable but I retired it simply for these pics.
The String Loop
Now the lower string in this next pic makes me nauseous. I bought this strung off one of my competitors so I could see the quaility. As you can see
the bundles do not actually "lay" together.
