| WELCOME TO OUR HOMEPAGE!!! Well, we are now in south Georgia! That's right, Katy and Joel are now stationed at Ft. Stewart and have bought a home in Richmond Hill. We both returned from Iraq in August and should be adding some pictures to Katy and Joel's pages to show some of our experiences. | About Us |
| Backcountry Labradors is a small hobby breeder located (for the time being) in Richmond Hill, Ga.. We started into this because of our love for the breed. Right now we are small but are looking forward to the day to when we can expand our Kennel and devote even more time to the breed (that day is when we both get out of the Army). We are striving to develop Labrador Retrievers that have a good temperament and that are easy to train no matter what your interest (i.e. conformation, field training, fireside buddy, etc.). We breed in accordance with the breed standard which is a guideline used by the American Kennel Club to judge the quality of the dog. All of our Labs have their hips certified by OFA at 18 months and their eyes certified (CERF) prior to breeding. All of our pups are sold on a Limited Registration basis. We will soon be adding a copy of our policies that goes more into detail on what we are striving to do. If you have any questions feel free to email us!!! |
