a solution for you
ALL OF THE TRACKER MANUAL IS NOW DOWNLOADABLE.
Chapter 12 is now complete, but is very large. If you do not re-download,
Here is page58 that I left out of chapter 12. Sorry about that.

Visual Tracking was a school offered during the Vietnam(pic) war by the Army
to grunts.(Infantryman)
I believe that only 9 sessions were all that happened with 30 men in each.
They had told us, as an incentive, that we would learn the old Indian tracker ways
I was always curious how the Indians knew what to look for.

What really perked my interest up was, WE WILL TEACH YOU THE SIXTH SENSE.
As my page develops, I will attempt to explain what was meant by the
SIXTH SENSE,and how we were taught to recognize the physical
manifestation of the "not in view".

I have been remodeling so that the hyper texted blue words takes you to a
different page.

Next time your tripping through the forest , try this.

Stop and very slowly move your head from side to side and see just how far you can see through the trees.
It should allow you to see at least 100 yards deeper into the forest if not more.

ABOUT ME

My name is Lewis Ford
Live in San Jose California
Am married and have 1 son
Employed as a Machinist
MY Resume
Served in the U.S. Army 1969 to 1972
Vietnam,(pic) 1970 to 1971

My training as a visual tracker was acquired in 1970. During the course,
we were instructed to take notes, since there was not any field manuals
available. Most of the information contained on my pages, comes from
memory of my training, hunting with my father, and the experience
I obtained as a Grunt in Vietnam.

I have obtained a field manual dated March 1973, titled
COMBAT TRACKER AND TRACKER DOG TRAINING AND EMPLOYMENT
HEADQUARTERS, DEPARTMENT OF THE ARMY

I located this manual at a local Gun and Coin show.
This manual helps to bump my memory and is also useful to anyone who likes
to hunt wild game.

I will be adding more information about tracking to my pages as I learn the HTML language.
If you have any questions, please email me using the hypertext link
