Mountaineering has always been left to the macho men, the tough guys and the brutes. People have always branded it as a sport for the big guys. This is where the Ateneo High School Outdoors Club proves them wrong. The club members are literally boys. Yes, boys. Boys with the hearts of men.

When we pass by mountain communities, it is not seldom that people whisper to each other or just can't help commenting, "Mas malaki pa ang bag ninyo sa inyo, ah." (Your bags are bigger than you are.) Who can't notice a 5'0" kid carrying a pack more than half his height? If other mountaineering clubs boast of their machoness, we boast of our cuteness.

Definitely not snobbish, this officially-accredited school club aims to expose high school students, whose ages range from 13-18 years old, to the beauty of nature, its value and to the prevalent situation of Philippine rural communities.

This homepage is dedicated to the men, women, girls, boys, bakla (gay), tomboy (or even animals) who we've met along the way or have been part in one way or another of the Ateneo High School Outdoors Club.

This is the Ateneo High School Outdoors Club. Macho men? Cute boys.
