Where I now live:
Hello from sunny Florida. Ya, thats right, another northerner invading the south. Having just moved to the Gainesville area from Vermnot, I have yet to get use to the 90+ degree days. I enjoy living in Florida however I do miss the explosion of color seen during the fall season. By the way, who's idea was it to string christmas lights on palm tree's? I knew I was a stranger in a strange land when I first saw a plastic Santa, dressed in shorts and sun glasses, decorating a front yard on Christmas day. Next year I plan to hang a sign on my door explaining     "Will work for snow".
My Interests:
I have so many things that I'm interested in, it would take more space than this page has to list them all. Instead of running down a boring list of individual likes I'll just give you the general idea.   I enjoy many activities from  Motorcycles  to sports, (I like watching football as long as there are good snacks) playing softball to fishing (Just a note on the fishing thing...Yes, I do bait my own hook). Camping, Hunting (sorry, another note. I do enjoy  hunting and yes I do love firearms and shooting but NO, I DO NOT like mindlessly killing animals. My idea of hunting is going on a heavily armed nature walk . I would have to say that my farorite hobbies are firearms, sewing leather goods, radio control models and working with metal. I actually use to be able to enjoy these hobbies before I replaced all of them with my new hobby.............. STUDYING
As for music...I'm one of those people who chooses the music I listen to based on my mood at the time. I enjoy everything from country to techno, 80's rock to new age.  By the way.... Has anyone else noticed that many people who are really into classical music tend to be over educated, pompus, self absorbed, bombastic  know-it-alls? 
As for food... Simple, If it tastes good...I like it.
I think it's important to point out that although I do love "roughing it" sometimes, I  still have a very soft, feminine, frilly side. I may have a set of BDU's hanging in the closet but I also have a beautiful satin nightgown right beside it with a garterbelt and silk stockings in my dresser drawer.  My feminine sensuality and sexuality is alive and  well  and stronger than ever.
I also enjoy spending time indoors as well. I LOVE to cook. You noticed that I didn't say I was good at it though. I guess you'll have to be the judge of that. I'm by no means a Peggy Bundy type sitting on the couch eating Bon Bon's. I have way to much energy for that. I like to go to the movies (especially sci-fi, thriller and action adventure) or bring a good video home for the evening. I even enjoy going to a bad movie from time to time. Before you think I'm nuts please remember....There are still those of us who enjoy making out at the movies, even if we are now in our 30's (sligh smile)
Most of all I love spending time close to someone that truely cares for me as much as I care for them. I can't think of many activities..even the day to day boring one's, that are'nt made special when they are shared with someone you love. I hear you out there....ya you...You say you think that sounds like a line a BS...well so F**king what!!!, I still believe in love and romance. Besides, have we all become so jaded and bitter that we have given up on striving for happiness? ..........I, for one, HAVE NOT
