"Wenn Sie so, dann ich so, und pferd fliegt."
Hello, my name is Tal Soker and I'm 15 years old. I'm playing the piano for 6 years, even though I'm quite young I study music at the "Open University of Israel". I have 9 credits so far, and for an academic degree I need 108 credits. I also study composition under the Israeli composer Prof. A. Shapira.
I study music theory and I want to learn composition, conduction and I'm also interested in preforming music. My favorite composers are:
F. Poulenc, M. Ravel, S. Prokofiev, B. Britten, S. Rachmaninov, O. Messiaen, A. Shapira, G. Holst, A. Berg, G. Mahler, J. S. Bach, B. Bartok, I. Stravinski, D. Shostakovich, C. Debussy, A. Honegger, G. F. Händel, F. Schubert, R. Wagner, J. Haydn, J. Brahms, F. Mendelssohn-Bartholdy, A. Webern, A. Schönberg, Michael Tippet, L. van Beethoven, F. Chopin, W. A. Mozart, ect...
I'm also very interested in modern classical music preforming, composing and cunducting. I usually go to the Israrl Philharmonic Orchestra (IPO) concerts in Tel-Aviv. My favorite cunductors and players are:
Zubin Mehta, Yefim Bronfman, Herbert von Karajan, Alfred Brendel, Valery Gergiev, Charles Dutoit, Pascal Rogé, Maxim Vengerov, Vladimir Ashkenazy, Pierre Boulez, Daniel Barenboim, Christoph von Dohnanyi, Kent Nagano and Ivo Pogorelich.

One of my favorite sites is the Classical Net Home Page, you can find there information about composers and recordings (There is also a mailing list in it, the Moderated Classical Music List).
You should also check the Vienna Community Leaders' Page and Dave Starkovich's (Vienna Liaison) page.
