Damn... CammyFan.com's still not there!! But, I'm still working at uploading
everything, so whenever it's ready, most of the site should be ready too. |
| Anyhow, if you remember when Marvel vs Capcom 2 came out,
I talked a lot about how awesome Cammy's character art was. Until now, I've never
had a picture to show you. It's crappy (I wish I had a better copy!!), but if you
haven't seen it before, it good enough... Cammy really looks super cool nonetheless!
This is definitely the best Cammy character portrait from Capcom. |

would like more, just lemme know. I've never bothered putting up game FAQs for Cammy
because I don't like FAQ writers (they all seem so damn full of themselves), but if
there's a demand out there, I'll definitely do it. |

Anyhow, today I've got a short
fanfic for you! Eric Hernandez wrote a little story about Cammy getting a pet
bulldog... Cammy
& Mr. Snerdly.
And, I've read the 1st 3 chapters of another Cammy fanfic that's in the works, and it's
really interesting so far. It's gonna be an epic story that covers the complete
history of Shadowloo Cammy, the Dolls, and much more. |

(day 21) - Arrggghhhh!!! 3 weeks without
CammyFan.com! But, by this time next week, I'm sure it'll be back. |
| Anyhow, I just got my newest SNK
Supporters Club newsletter in the mail, and it's fulla good stuff. Last week I got
my Capcom Friendly Club newsletter, and there was almost nothing interesting.
Anyhow, the best news is that there's gonna be a SNK vs Capcom trading card game! I
when the Neo Geo Pocket SNK vs Capcom card game came out, I expected a card game to
follow. It's a little late, but it is coming. Here's a little preview of what
it'll look like... SNK vs Capcom TCG. The only disappointing thing
is that it's not original art... they're recycling old official Capcom and SNK art.
About 1 1/2 years ago, there was a Vampire Savior trading card game, and it was all
original art - super cool! Whenever the new game comes out, I'm gonna get 2 boxes,
and then I'll let you know how it is. |
| Also included in the newsletter,
was news on the King of Fighter 2000. It looks really cool, and I'm happy to say
that the new Garou Densetsu Team is: Terry, Andy, Joe... and BLUE MARY!! Aside
from Cammy joining a team, it's my dream come true. |
| However, that's not the only big
news... there's a new girl with 2 unbraided pigtails (blond), a hat, combat boots w/
socks, and kneepads!! Check her out... her name is Hinako,
and she's on the New Gals Team with Mai Shiranui, Yuri Sakazaki, and Kasumi Tohdoh.
And get this... as if she's not cool enough already, her fighting style is
wrestling! I'm really excited to see what this new girl is gonna be like... |

the SNK getting bought out by Capcom news... there's nothing. Good old SNK looks the
same as ever. I seriously doubt all the rumors. |

2000 (day 20) - Hi, I'm still here! Sorry, it's
been a busy few days... but I've got a lotta news. |
First of all, I'm still working
hard at setting up the new CammyFan.com. I've run into some snags, but it's all
getting worked out. I'll let you know as soon as it's all done!
PS - Here's a cool story... I had to call Network Solutions, the company that takes
care of all the domain names on the internet, and when I told the guy on the phone what my
site's URL was, he said "Oh, I've been there before. I was just playing her
last night." That totally made my day!! ^_^ |
Also, I got another Cammy picture
from the San Diego Comic Con... it's by comic artist Fred Perry (Gold Diggers), and it's
another cool submission move. This time, Cammy's got Karin Kanzuki begging for
mercy. Karin's an arrogant b****, so I'm sure Cammy's having fun giving Karin a big
dose of humility! Here it is...!
As cool as these submission moves are, you'll never seen Cammy doing that to Dhalsim
because he's made out of rubber, so it wouldn't hurt. And Blanka's ability to shock
people would discourage Cammy from grabbing a hold him. Then there are the big guys
like Sagat and Zangief who're probably too big for Cammy to tie up. Guess Cammy'll
just have to Cannon Spike all those into unconsciousness! |

2000 (day 17) - Hi again. Well, the Cammy
FanFic Storylines Page has been pretty popular! I already know that 3
new Cammy fanfics are in the works!! Anyhow, you might wanna check out the page
again because I've added another fanfic story idea... it combines Cammy and Resident Evil! |
| Hey, I've got a cool new Cammy
picture too! It's by comic artist Holly Daughtrey. My friend's at the San
Diego Comic Convention this weekend, and he got this for me... it's Cammy locking up
Sakura in a double-toed leglock surfboard submission - OUCH!... Sakura's in a lotta pain,
and I don't think she's going anywhere unless she gives up. Here it is...! |

CammyFan.com to its new home. A lot should be done whenever it finally goes up
again, but it won't all be there. However, I will get that new Cammy Cosplay Page
up. It'll have 3 galleries at first, and then I'll add a new gallery ever 2-3 days
for the next 2-3 weeks. It's sucked not having the site for so long, so I'm really
excited for things to get back to normal! |

2000 (day 15) - CammyFan.com is coming back!!
I've got the new server, IP address, and all that stuff. I've already started
uploading files, but the internet isn't set to find CammyFan.com at the new address
yet. That's outta my hands, but as soon as the internet gods take care of biz,
things will almost be back to normal. In the meantime, please keep checking this
page... I'll let you know when everything's OK. Thanks for hanging in there with us! |

2000 (day 14) - Okay, I'm in the process of signing up
with a new server! I don't know how long it's gonna take to have the domain name
moved to my new host, but I should be able to start rebuilding CammyFan.com within a day
or two. The new server's gonna cost me more money, but as long as it's reliable,
then I'm okay with that - Cammy's worth it! Please hang in a bit longer... we're
almost there!! |

for some new Cammy pictures, right?! Before the server went down, I was about to put
up a big new cosplay page. Well, here are a few pictures that were gonna be in it... |
 I met this girl at
the Spring 2000 Tokyo Game Show. She was a nice girl and one of the best looking
Cammy's that I've personally met. And she was good enough to pose for a few personal
pictures (1-2 to 1-5). Well, I'll shut up and let you get to lookin' at those
pictures! (BTW, check out her huge boots! ^_^)

2000 (day 11) - Hey, sorry I disappeared on you.
It was a busy weekend, and then I got a bad case a food poisoning. I spent so much
time with my head in the toilet that I've actually got a bruise on my forehead!
Well, thank God that's all over with. I'm back... lets talk Cammy! |
| First of all, I'm gonna have to
put CammyFan.com on a new server, so it's gonna take a while to do that - but I should get
started soon. In the meantime... today I wanna rant about the big news, and
tomorrow, I'll finally add some new Cammy pictures. BTW, I got a preview of a new
Cammy fanfic that somebody's writing, and it's gonna be really good! I'll put it up
as soon as I can! |
| Anyhow, I'm still really hyped up
about the good news of Cammy being in SNK vs Capcom! Actually, SNK vs Capcom is more
like SF2 vs KoF. Thank goodness that they expanded the character roster! You
know, this game was supposed to be released in March 2000. The response to the
line-up and screenshots was not good, so I suppose they delayed it and put a lot more work
into it. Should be a good game. |
The Street Fighters:
Cammy, Ryu, Ken, Chun Li, Guile, Zangief, Dhalsim, E.Honda, Blanka, Balrog, Vega, Sagat,
M.Bison, and Sakura.
Cammy's in ^_^ !!! Other than that, it's a mediocre cast of characters. Even I
can't deny that Ken & Ryu should be in the game. Thank goodness that Akuma &
Dan are not in (yet). 3 shotoclones (Ken, Ryu, & Ryo) and 1 wannabe shotoclone
(Sakura) is more than enough. What I don't understand, is why it's almost all SF2
characters? Some more SFZ characters instead of lame guys like Honda, Blanka, Mike
Bison, etc. would have been a lot better. But I think it's hilarious that no SF3
characters are in!! |
The King of Fighters: Kyo,
Iori, Terry, Ryo, Mai, Kim, Geese, Yamakazi, Raiden, Rugal, Vice, Benimaru, Yuri, and
King.
The biggest problem that I have with the SNK cast is that Blue Mary's not in. She's
not only a super-cool character, but also one of the top 3 most popular KoF characters!
Either Vice or King should been left out to make room for Mary! The other big
problem is that Raiden is in the game... WHY?! If they needed a big guy to go
against Zangief, they shoulda picked Chan Koehan. Nobody knows who Raiden is. |
| PS - It seems like there are new
characters being added, so this isn't it. I heard that Evil Ken (why?!) and Athena
Asamiya are also in. I wonder who else...? |

2000 (day 10) - BIG news!!! Cammy made it into SNK vs Capcom!!
I knew they couldn't deny Cammy and the fans any longer...
she' coming back in another big new game!! To get all the news on the line-up of SNK
vs Capcom, check out this story on ZDnet.com. The Capcom line-up is pretty weak, but
Cammy's in, and that's all that counts. I hope her ending shows her leaving Capcom
to join Terry Bogard, Blue Mary, Kyo, Iori, Yuri, and all the other cool characters at SNK
^_^ |

which Cammy's in the game?! I bet it's Shadowloo Cammy, because Capcom's so cheap
when it comes to drawing new character animation. Anyhow, I don't have much time to
rant today, but I will tomorrow... |
| Well, it's beginning to look like
my server is gone forever. I guess I'll have to start looking for another
one. The problem is, I don't know if there's any other place that'll give me 300 Mb
for US$ 23 a month. I know of free servers with tons of space, but I want to keep
the site free from advertisements. And other servers cost a ton of money, for half
the space. When I do get a new server, uploading over 110 Mb via modem is gonna take
a long time, and then checking to make sure that everything works is gonna even more
time. *Sigh*....at least some of you fans know about this temporary site. |

| I'm talking with a guy who's
writing a Cammy fan fic, and I told him about some ideas I've had. One of the things
that's I've been working on for a while now, is a Cammy fan fic storyline page. I
can't write worth a darn, but I do have a ton of ideas that I think would make for good
stories. I'm hoping that some fans with writing ability will use some of my ideas
and write a story. Anyways, I finished it up, and it's ready for you to look
at. Even if you're not gonna write anything, it should be interesting to check
out... Cammy

#1 fan in Brazil... he mailed me some Brazilian SFZ3 comics where Cammy plays a pretty big
role. I had no idea that they had such cool comics down there! Someday, I'll
scan those and put 'em up for you all to see.
PS - if there's anybody else from Brazil who can help me get all the other SF comic,
please lemme know, and we'll try to make a deal. |

2000 (day 7) - Damn, this sucks!! There's still
no change, and it's been a week. I'm paying for a professional server that mostly
deals with business web sites, so I can't imagine how this is happening. If I at
least knew what was happening, I could calm down a little. What bothers me most is
that I can't really tell anybody (except the ~200 people I e-mailed), so when somebody
stops by Cammy's page, they get told that they're not allowed to see it! |

I've been working on a lotta things. Whenever it goes back up, I'll immediately put
up the new Cammy Cosplay Page. I'll have 3 galleries ready a first, and then I'll
add a new gallery ever other day for the next 2 weeks! I should also have the
Shadowloo Cammy Bio done too. And who knows what else... guess that depends on how
much longer this situation lasts. |
