Intro - About Me And This Page
Here's a basic explanation of this site. I got a TI-82 a couple of years ago. I had a few BASIC/text games, nothin' much. A year later I got a Graph-Link and I learned about ASM games. So I figured, "Hey, why not create a web site containing ALL of the asm games for the TI-82?" So I present to you The Land of CrASH!!
This site is dedicated to providing all of you with all of the ASM games for the TI-82. YOU NEED A GRAPH-LINK, TI-82 GRAPH-LINK SOFTWARE, AND AN UNZIP UTILITY TO BE ABLE TO GET THE MOST OUT OF THIS SITE. You can get a Graph-link at almost any computer store. I got mine at Staples (yeah, we've got that). Or you can order it at The Texas Instruments Home Page. You can download the TI-82 software there too. You can get the latest version of WinZip at The WinZip Home Page.
This entire site is maintained by me: Timmy J. I'm your average high school student (Junior year). I am also REALLY into music. I especially like jazz. Visit My Music Page where I have a moderate size compilation of mostly jazz MIDI files. If you have any questions, comments, or anything, don't hesitate to e-mail me at TimmyJ2000@Hotmail.com.
CrASH is the name of the operating system, or shell, that all of the games on this site run under. It is kinda like DOS. The games that don't need CrASH to run are called BASIC games. They use the BASIC programming language that is built into all of the TI calculators. The games that require CrASH are called ASM games. ASM stands for assembly, which is the programming language that they are written in. BASIC games are NOTHING in comparison to ASM games. ASM out-does BASIC like, 100 to 1. That is why I decided not to include any BASIC games on my site. If you think that I should include BASIC games on my site, I will, although it will be an extreme pain in the butt. E-mail me at TimmyJ2000@Hotmail.com to tell me what you think.
I did not see the need to create a huge archive of TI-82 links, so I just gave you a few that are really good. These are the only links that I use, so they must be good enough. Let me know if any of them aren't working.
If you have any really good links, send them to me at TimmyJ@Hotmail.com. I'll go there, review it, and if it's good enough, I'll put the link on my page.
Comments? Suggestions? Links? Anything I forgot? E-Mail me at TimmyJ2000@Hotmail.com
Visit my TI-83 site: The Land of S.O.S.!! It is almost exactly identical to this one, but is based around the TI-82.
