Generate HTML writeups for your Hero System characters!
Enter your character into a series of fill-out forms, and HTML Hero will generate a character sheet that you can save as an HTML file. Avoid the messy process of creating and debugging complex <table>s. And now HTML Hero can also load in old sheets to make editing your characters a snap.
- In order to avoid the GeoCities' branding and pop-up windows, HTML Hero has been moved off of GeoCites and onto my ISP's server. The above URL will redirect your browser to wherever the pages currently reside. HTML Hero requires a Frames- and JavaScript- capable browser, such as Netscape 2.0 or Internet Explorer 3.0 or higher.
- All of the HTML Hero files are now available for download in the above ZIP archive. Keep a local copy of HTML Hero to create and edit your character sheets much faster then over the internet. The archived version also contains full comments for programmers interested in looking at the source code. Text files are in DOS format. I suggest that Mac users looking at these files use the free text editor BBEdit Lite.
- If you are unable or unwilling to use a browser capable of running HTML Hero, I have provided a number of blank character sheets that you can download and edit manually. You should be familiar with HTML, but liberal comments in the markup should make lining up the <table> cells reasonably simple (if tedious). The commenting scheme also allows these sheets to be loaded into HTML Hero!
