Since I have had these pages up for a while now, I thought it about time to update a bit. Well here we go again. These pages have been set up to cater for those people trying to find, swap, buy or trade, within Australia, swapcards, tazo's and yowies. All prices on these pages are in Australian dollars, and are mainly here to get an estimate on trade value of the items, offers for swap or trade are acceptable. |

WHAT IS A YOWIE ? |
|
Now some of you are probably wondering what is a yowie, well it is a toy that is in a plastic egg inside a Cadbury chocolate egg, shaped like a mythical creature called a yowie. Each of these toys represents an animal native to Australia and New Zealand and come in catorgories like common animals, or endangered etc. Each contains a bit of paper with it describing the animal it represents and photo of the actual animal and how to put it together. |

The actual concept of Yowie's came about 3 to 4 years ago by writers Brice Courtenay and Geoff Pike. Yowies are six mythical Australian creatures, living on the other side of sunset in a magical world where everything is environmentally green and clean. But they are in a constant battle to keep the world clean as some rather nasty characters called Grumkins regularly try to mess up the environment. In the end the Yowies win out and teach the Grumkins and us an important environmental lesson.
There are sites on the net like Yowie.com that have a picture gallery of most of these yowies, or Ray's Yowie Compendium which has a great gallery with variations. |

WHO WHAT & WHERE |

For the past 2.5 years I have lived in Beauty Point, Tasmania, on the lovely Tamar River.As the river here is tidal, we get a great mix of saltwater and freshwater fish. |
|
|
|
Some of the variety of fish we catch are; Flathead, Salmon, Flounder, Coota, Shark, Mullet, Mackerel and Cod, but there are many more that I just cannot think of at the moment. Soon I will be moving from here to the mainland and suburbia Melbourne, so this page will change again then. |

Among my past times I enjoy role-playing games, My favourite games are Heroquest and Talisman, but mostly I play Advanced Heroquest. For Heroquest there is a free e-mail based newsletter called Alchemist's Bench, which you can get from The Alchemist's Bench. Also I have found that the program Campaign Cartographer 2 (map maker) is an invaluable asset to any roleplayer and can be found at the Profantasy web site. |

The best Games Site in Australia that I have found is "PLAYNOW!", as they have great reviews etc, and have competitions that are open to Aussies. Yes, I have even won a prize from them, Mechwarrior3, and its a great game. |
|
|
|
Amoung my other past-times I play 8-ball (pool), and darts, both of which I intend to play in competition this season. |
