June 24th '98
I am in great pain. I have sprained my
thumb and it hurts. Anyway, I have 2 more PUDs up and some more software
and links.

Sorry for the lack of updates:
The idiots at my ISDN maintenance service failed
to detect a strange software conflict between Win95 and the ISDN software.
It turns out that my ISDN software was outdated and I had to use my (ugh)
9600 bps modem to download the new driver. After that my system detected
a Michaelangelo virus (im just makin that part up!). I had it terminated,
but for 2 weeks my computer was in the repair shop.
I have some more stuff up.

PUD Editors
War2xEd - It's the map editor that is kinda
confusing, but it works great, but it doesnt make new maps.
PUDdraft - This is just like the origional
map editor, but you can make bridges on water, weird looking canyons too!
Warmaker - This generates a PUD by itself.
It is for lazy people only. You might have to wait a while before
you get a good one, though.
Patches
1.4 Patch - Fixes exorcism bug, adds randomization
for colors in multiplayer games, and anti cheating improvement.
1.5 Expansion Patch - This patch for "Beyond
the Dark Portal". It fixes compatibility with the older save games,
adds Draenor tile set and new Heroes to the Map Editor, and cheating security
in multiplayer.
Other Utilities
WarDraft - If you ask me, it is a
superior program. You can do just about anything with this program!
New Tilesets (v. 0.3 BETA) - One of
the great things made possible by WarDraft. It replaces Forest with
Jungle, Winter with Volcano, and Wasteland with Desert. Read the
text file now. Remember to backup your maindat.war
before using this!
StrEd - A handy little utility which
lets you rename the units and buildings
PUDimage - Lets you creat a picture
of a PUD's minimap. Very handy if you want to make a War2 page.

3. If you wish to give me a PUD, do the following:

Make a good PUD (silly ones or impossible ones may not make it).

Make a text file (Plain text only) and include a brief description, the
title, and your name and e-mail address.

Put the 2 files (e.g.- pud1.pud, pud1.txt) into a zip file (e.g.-
pud1.zip). Remember, the filenames MUST match or I throw it out.

E-mail me the file. The file should be up in my page in the next
2 days.
4. I dont e-mail PUDs or files back, so dont ask.
5. Be friendly and give my site a high ranking :)
