freely indulge in such games now, as Sega releases its Dreamcast and Nintendo
plans a sequel to the 64.

Simply the best RPG available to the SNES, the 3rd
in the series that really outdid itself with this one.
The storyline of good vs evil is simple and doesn't
explain itself, this game just is.

Those who entered into the Final Fantasy Phenomenon
with Final Fantasy VII
will enjoy this prequel. Though the storyline is historically
different, and a the 3d world
is impossible to convey as brilliantly as on VII,
the
music is just as atmospheric and the game is
almost as thorugh.

At the time this was the best-selling video game of
all-time, yet ironically many rate it not as Sonic's best.
This offers a rolllercoaster ride through a hotchpotch
of 11 levels, comprised of only 2 acts.
However the game features some of the most creative
music and beatifully-rendered levels of the Sonic series,
whichever way you look at it this is part of video-game
history, see the 2d alternative to Dreamcast's Sonic Adventure.
Sonic

Title hit for the Mega Drive, though later blue hedgehog

the easiest Sonic, with a very debatable last boss!
Sonic

This third adventure seems like the biggest yet, the
levels are more elaborate than they have ever been,
there is so much more detail and you now have to fight
a boss in every level.
The proliferation of bonus and special stages themselves
make
this game a must!

Formulaic, almost satirical platform gaming, however

Voted as game of all-time by more than one person,
and yet it's in black&white and played
on a system designed to fit into your hand. Which
proves that games can sometimes be about more than graphics and
special effects. This is the king of lateral thinking,
and it'll probably take over a year to complete. Another entry into the
classic RPG series takes you on a mission to save
another princess hidden under a myriad of dungeons and keys. If you've
never played this before, get this one. With the emulator
above even if you have played it before now's the chance
to play it in colour.

This is the original one, all the others seem to be
based upon it. This was the invention of a brilliant concept, you progress
your way
through the platfrom levels to reach the base of Dr
Robotnik! There are some excellent levels in this game, such as the Bridge
level and the Jungle level, Labyrinth was invented here too. It seems like
a classic game, for the choice and style of levels ,which can come off
as
quite cheap and nasty in other Sonic titles. It is
quite formidable too, especially since you can't save. You won't do the
boss on
your first go either, not like Sonic 1 For the Mega
Drive. Get it to see a bit of Video-Game history, and if
you're not a Sonic fan, get it to become one!

I love this game!, its an unbeatable fairytale RPG,
in which you progress through 8 very diffferently themed worlds.
In each one there are levels, castles to be obliterated
and enemies who stand in your way. The World Map
interface of this game is classic and adds to the
fun in such a way that Mario 1 or 2 could
never achieve, If you get to world 8 where there are
multiple castles and rock-hard fortresses
be glad of the emulators' save state function, becuase
you couldn't even save,
you had to play right through in this game on the
original N E S. This game is also
available for the SNES up there as one of The "all
stars", I highly reccomend that.

You have to hand it to them, this is one of the most
addictive games out there. And for all its simplicity
it's actually quite challenging, especially when dodging
those hammer-throwing dudes. And then you get told she's in another castle.
Well in this game there are 8 of them in fact, get
it and see if you can find the cheat, it's a steal at less than 40 KB.
