The first two photos were taken from the top floor of the World Trade Center. The next ones, on Brooklyn Bridge and in Central Park, and the last one from the ferry to Staten Island. I visited New York for a week the summer of 2000.
In April 2001, I made some more pictures from the WTC. Different weather conditions!
My hotel room on the top (33rd) floor offered a wonderful view on Broadway.
(The first of the New York photos was Photo of the Day at DigitalPhotoContest (Travel) on March 6th, 2001. The last one was Photo of the Day at Bestfoto.com (Scenic) on April 24th!)
The CN- Tower in Toronto is the highest free-standing building in the world. It has a glass floor in one of its observatory decks...
All these photos were made bicycling, hiking and rowing in Holland, mostly near Amsterdam - through all seasons.
A few photos of the city of Amsterdam itself.
These cats are called Pluis and Karel. Karel lives with my parents now, and in their holidays stays with me. The next two photos were taken at the opening concert of Sail 2000 Amsterdam. The boys are the children of friends of mine in what soon will be their new home. Last photos: Prague and Nantes (France).
A few photos of my niece who is now one year old.
The forsythia, daffodil and grape hyacinth are growing on my roof.
I hope to add more photos with time. Meanwhile it would be nice to get comments and suggestions from you : please
