In a way, Jesus is a divider of families and friends. They may misunderstand us when we start living for Christ and reject and ridicule us. It hurts but Jesus said it would happen. Yet we are united with Him and He will never leave us. When we walk with the Lord, we'll be out of step with the world.

       "Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the LORD you God will be with you wherever you go."
-Joshua 1:9
