Here is my car covered with snow. It's hard to tell but it's a Metallic Green with a black top. |
First off I would like to thank you for viewing my web page dedicated to my car. Lets start off on how I got the car. I ended up getting my car when I met my wife while she was stationed at Fort Knox. We got married on Dec. 6th of 2000 and at the end of the month we purchased the vehicle from her dad that had picked it up from a scrap yard. It was damaged on the front passenger side, the body had damage but there was no damage to the frame, it was still straight as a arrow. The car was completely repaired when we bought it, except for the airbags but I found those for pretty cheap off of ebay but I didn't hook them up just for the simple fact of all the bad stuff that I've seen happen to people from airbags. |
The car was in my wife's name but after I traded my 97 Grand Am in so she could get a 2002 PT Cruiser the Talon became all mine. I've driven the Eclipse GST and in my opinion isn't as fun as the AWD version just for the simple fact of how it handles in the snow is awesome and the AWD launches are great too. If you ever get the chance to drive AWD Eclipse or Talon there basically the same thing except for badging and a few other things. The car could have used a bigger turbo from the factory but I guess Chrysler/ Mitsubishi were cutting back on manufacturing costs or whatever. |

Another shot of the car from the front. These cars look great anywhere even covered in snow. |

I know it's not the greatest picture but it shows where I mounted my Apex' I Turbo Timer. |
The only thing's I've done is install my Turbo Timer which allows me to leave the car running for a preset time with out leaving the keys in the ignition or seating in the car while it cools the turbo down, the BCS mod, and cut the dumptube. As I do mod's to the car or any major maintenance I.E. timing belt changes or balance shaft removal I'll post them here and some pics with some of the bigger stuff I do. Please look below for links to DSM websites for information or stuff to mod the cars with. |
