GENERAL INFORMATION
WHAT IS INCLUDED : Details of what is included are specified in each individual trip. Included meals are indicated by (B) breakfast, (L) lunch and (D) dinner on the trip itinerary.
NOT INCLUDED : International flights, passport and visa fees, airport taxes, insurance of any kind, excess baggage charges, optional tours and excursions, laundry, phone calls, drinks and other items of a personal nature.
LOCAL GUIDES : Our guides are carefully selected for their area experience and wide knowledge of the region visited. They are resourceful and interesting individuals in their own right. Whether they are arranging or giving advice on sightseeing, local food, entertainments, etc.. They know their job well.
ACCOMMODATION & MEALS : The type of accommodation on the tour is specified on each trip--it could be hotels throughout or a combination of hotels, bungalows, hostels, village huts or guesthouses. Most hotels selected are of superior tourist standard, air-conditioned with private bath or shower and other amenities. Accommodation in hotels are generally arranged on a shore room (t\Twin or Triple) basis. Normally, only breakfast is included, leaving you free to eat out at local restaurants or bistros, rather than in the hotel. On trekking trips, we provide the basic cooking and equipment, though you may need to bring your own basic personal gear.
TRANSPORTATION : Extended travel by flight, air-conditioned coaches, mini-buses and 2nd class train (with sleeping berth - if overnight). Our adventure trips utilize a variety of typical local transport including pick-up truck, ox-cart, bamboo rafts, long-tail boat, ferryboat and even on elephants back.
PRE & POST TOUR ACCOMMODATION In conjunction with the tour (s) and to be booked at the same time as your original booking.

TRIP PACKING For trips with trekking.
LUGGAGE : In the fields you will need a rucksack to carry your personal gear (limited to 15 lbs). Your suitcases or other baggage can be stored at hotel in Chiang Mai or Chiang Rai. CLOTHING : Light cotton wear, T-shirts, jogging / casual pants and shorts. Bring a warm sweater as the nights can be quite cold during the months of December to February. A light rain wear is advisable for all year. FOOTWEAR : A pair of comfortable, light weight hiking boots are essential. Sandals or sneakers are useful during stream crossing. EQUIPMENT : You will need to bring a sleeping bag, foam mat, water bottles, flashlight with spare batteries, a good sun hat, plastic bags to separate wet / dry and clean / dirty clothes. PERSONAL KITS : Toiletries, personal medical supplies as required.
SPENDING MONEY : You will need some extra cash to cover for meals not included in the trip, optional tours, airport taxes, souvenirs, etc...
