God Always Answers Prayer
Rev. Robert H. Schuller

When the idea is not right, God says, "No."

No-when the idea is not the best.
No-when the idea is absolutely wrong.
No-when though it may help you,
it could create problems for someone else.

When the time is not right, God says, "Slow."

What a catastrophe it would be if God answered every prayer at the snap of your fingers. Do you know what would happen? God would become your servant, not your master. Suddenly God would be working for you instead of you working for God.

Remember: God's delays are not God's denials. God's timing is perfect. Patience is what we need in prayer.

When you are not right, God says, "Grow."

The selfish person has to grow in unselfishness.
The cautious person must grow in courage.
The timid person must grow in confidence.
The dominating person must grow in sensitivity.
The critical person must grow in tolerance.
The negative person must grow in positive attitudes.
The pleasure-seeking person must grow in compassion for suffering people.

When everything is all right, God says, "Go."

Then miracles happen:
A hopeless alcoholic is set free!
A drug addict finds release !
A doubter becomes as a child in his belief.
Diseased tissue responds to treatment, and healing begins.
The door to your dream suddenly swings open and there
stands God saying, "Go!"

Some of God's many Teachings and Promises
The Holy Bible

My Child, never forget the things I have taught you. Store my commands in your heart, for they will give you a long and satisfying life. Never let loyalty and kindness get away from you! Wear them like a necklace; write them deep within your heart. "Then you will find favor with both God and people and you will gain a good reputation." PROVERBS 3:1-4

Trust in the Lord with all your heart;
Do not depend on your own understanding.
Seek His will in all you do, and He will direct your paths.
PROVERBS 3:5-6

Don't be impressed with your own wisdom. Instead, fear the Lord and turn your back on evil. Then you will gain renewed health and vitality. PROVERBS 3:7-8

Honor the Lord with your wealth and with the best part of everything your land produces. Then He will fill your barns with grain, and your vats will overflow with the finest wine. . PROVERBS 3:9-10.

(This tells you that when you obey God and do His will for your life, blessings will come from Him first. When you become God's own child, meaning you accepted Him to enter your heart and accept His Lordship, He will bless you abundantly as Jesus Christ promised. When the blessings start pouring in, Honor God by blessing others who are in need. It doesn't mean that it just goes to one place, like a church. There are many ways to give blessings to others--like widows, the poor, the orphans, your immediate family that needs financial help the most. There are many ways to bless others. God wants you to allocate your blessings to those who need them most. God's blessings will come first and foremost when you ask Him for blessings financially. Jesus said, ask and you shall receive. He said that if God can take care of the birds in the sky, what more with you who He created in His own image. You don't need any pastor or ministry to tell you to give to their ministry or church first before God can bless you. God can bless you just by yourself believing BIG in Him. God is BIGGER than those who coerced you in giving.

NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE TO GOD TO THOSE WHO SINCERELY BELIEVE THAT GOD CAN CHANGE YOUR SITUATION WITHOUT A CHURCH OR MINISTRY TO INTERFERE WITH YOUR MANY BLESSINGS. YOU EARNED HIS FAVORS ALREADY WHEN YOU ACCEPTED JESUS CHRIST AS YOUR LORD AND SAVIOR. GOD WANTS A ONE ON ONE RELATIONSHIP WITH YOU. GOD IS MORE CONCERNED OF THE CONDITION OF YOUR HEART. HE DOESN'T WANT YOU TO GIVE BECAUSE YOU WERE COERCED AND PRESSURED INTO GIVING. HE WANTS YOU TO GIVE TO HIS CAUSE BECAUSE YOU LOVE HIM AND NOT BECAUSE YOU WANTED SOMETHING FROM HIM. WHEN YOU LOVE HIM WITH ALL YOUR HEART, YOUR SOUL, YOUR MIND--IT IS A GIVEN-- HE WILL ABUNDANTLY BLESS YOU ALREADY AND BESTOW YOU HIS FAVORS.

Now, if you were born with wealth, it does not come from your parents, all acquired things are blessings that come from God, which include wealth and health, so if you have the means, Honor God by helping others and PRAISE, GLORIFY and THANK GOD, because you are able to bless others because of Him. Be a good Samaritan. Don't be stingy and greedy. God loves people who give generously and cheerfully when they have the means to help others who are truly in need. Pray to God for wisdom when giving to a church. God wants us to give to a ministry that spread His Good News or Jesus' Gospel. So, pray for God's wisdom and He will direct your path to your giving. The more you give, the more blessings God will give to you. But the blessings come from God first. Do not be swayed or pressured into believing that you have to give first, even if you do not have anything to give, meaning you barely can survive financially. When you have a big faith in God, He will bless you first, then learn to bless others but also learn to spend your blessings from God wisely.

2 Corinthians 8:1-15; 2 Corinthians 9:6 & 9:7 apply to people of today in regards to giving. Apostle Paul said in 2 Corinthians 8: "Give whatever you can according to what you have. 12 If you are really eager to give, it isn't important how much you are able to give. God wants you to give what you have, not what you don't have. 13 Of course, I don't mean you should give so much that you suffer from having too little. I only mean that there should be some equality." This is in the New Testament after Jesus Christ's resurrection.)

My child, don't ignore it when the Lord disciplines you, and don't be discouraged when He corrects those He loves, just as a father corrects a child in whom He delights. PROVERBS 3:11-12

Happy is the person who finds wisdom and understanding.
For the profit of wisdom is better than silver, and her wages are better than gold.
Wisdom is more precious than rubies; .
nothing you desire can compare with her. She offers you life in her right hand, and riches and honor in her left.
She will guide you down delightful paths; all her ways are satisfying.
Wisdom is a tree of life to those who embrace her; happy are those who hold her tightly. By wisdom the Lord founded the earth; by understanding He established the heavens. By His knowledge the deep fountains of the earth burst forth, and the clouds poured down rain. PROVERBS 3:13-20

My child, don't lose sight of good planning and insight. Hang on to them,

for they fill you with life and bring you honor and respect.
They keep you safe on your way and keep your feet from stumbling.
You can lie down without fear and enjoy pleasant dreams.
You need not be afraid of disaster or the destruction that comes upon the wicked,
for the Lord is your security. He will keep your foot from being caught in a trap.
PROVERBS 3:21-26

Do not withold good from those who deserve it,

when it's in your power to help them.
If you can help your neighbor now,
don't say, "Come back tomorrow, and then I'll help you."
PROVERBS 3:27-28

Do not plot against your neighbors, for they trust you. Don't make accusations against someone who hasn't wronged you.

Do not envy violent people;
don't copy their ways
Such wicked people are an abomination to the Lord, but He offers His friendship to the godly
PROVERBS 3:29-32

The curse of the Lord is on the house of the wicked, but His blessing is on the home of the upright.,

The Lord mocks at mockers,.
but He shows favor to the humble.
The wise inherit honor, but fools are put to shame.
PROVERBS 3:33-35
