Red Griffin Productions specializes in medieval themed events. Actors are trained in audience participation, character interaction, and choreographed stage combat.   Red Griffin was created by D. Ryan in 1997. His vision was to provide authentic characters that would educate as well as entertain the general public. We strive at offering a glimpse into the lives of those who lived long ago through interaction, and education.    Red Griffin has been a presence in the faire circles for 5 years, picking and choosing projects that excite its members and allow them to showcase and develop their talents.

   The main attraction that Red Griffin provides is a human chess match. Imagine a life sized chess match made up of human characters from medieval times. The Red Griffin chess match provides interesting storylines with choreographed stage combat.

   Since it's creation, Red Griffin has grown into an eclectic cast of over thirty characters ranging from courtly ladies to bumbling thieves. We have produced shows for The Castle of Muskogee and Withrow Arkansas Renaissance Festival and supported efforts of other organizations Excalibur Fantasy Faire and the OU Medieval Fair. The Red Griffin cast is available for Renaissance Faire's, fundraisers, and many other activities.
