Farm land at Struges Road near Auckland (has also been said the Xena set is located at Henderson Valley Road)  NOTE: taping of the show is not open to visitors (closed set).

Filmed at Bethell's Beach (black sand beach) 30 miles from Auckland
Xena's Tan: 
Painted on with a sponge in about five minutes, but takes a lot longer to get off.
