How to use mIRC: |
|
|
|
1. Download the file and run it from the directory you chose to download to. |
|
|
|
2. Un-zip the file to c:\mIRC |
|
|
|
3. Go to the folder c:\mIRC and run the file mIRC32.exe |
|
|
|
4. When the program opens, you will be shown a screen allowing you to change your details (Name, E-Mail Address etc). |
|
|
5. Select the server you want to connect to (e.g. Virgin Chat) by clicking on the bar above the 'Connect to IRC Server' button. |
|
|
|
5. When you have filled in your details and selected the appropriate server, click 'Connect to IRC Server!'. You will then be connected to the chat server. |
