Hi, I'm Lori and this is the closest thing you'll find to a homepage for me on the 'net. I plan to do more with it later, but for now .... A little about me: I graduated from Oklahoma State University in 1991 (B.S. in Agriculture, majored in Biotechnology, minored in English Lit). Like most people, I do nothing that relates to this degree. I work for the state law library now as a Law/Legislative Reference Technician. I am a lifelong Star Wars fan(atic), so anything to do with Star Wars is cool with me. Anything by "Reihla" is something I wrote. I am a medieval reinactor and play frequently with the Society for Creative Anachronism. To learn more about my role in that organization, click here. I'm still in the process of collecting pics of some of my older work, but I've managed to get at least a distant blurry pic of the newer ones. As music goes, I enjoy most every kind (hip-hop notsomuch). It is something of a running gag with my friends that I'm a fan of Rick Springfield. Actually, I have other favorite artists, but back in 1999 I relapsed into Rick fandom when he released his first new CD in a decade. This was most likely to compensate for other insanity in my life at that time, but my friends remember and are still fond of beating me over the head with it. In addition to the stuff I do in the SCA (drumming, calligraphy, metalwork, etc.) I also love going to movies, writing, drawing and (on rare occasion) painting. Also on the list of things I enjoy but don't get to do often are: play laser tag, role playing games (SW, D&D), and race radio controlled cars (1:10 scale). When I'm not writing, working on my yard or my free time is spent playing World of Warcraft. I even joined a WoW guild. Like any lemming on the internet these days, I also have a livejournal. Actually, I have several and use them for different purposes. Here is my real life journal. Here's an SCA journal (to keep that stuff separate from real life). And now I have a MySpace page... why, I have no idea...Sorry, I guess I said I like to write... On a specifically Star Wars related note, I have a special blog that came with my fanclub membership (yeah, I know, failed my geek-check again). You can find it here. I also write Star Wars fanfiction. Most of my stuff can be found on fanfiction.net or at TheForce.net's fanfiction forums. For now, I'm starting to archive my works on a page of their own, but this is all I have so far....You can find other stories thru the MySpace page linked above, the entry titled "writing."
