My name is Cindy Esposito. My dad, Joe Esposito, worked for Elvis Presley for 17 years. They met Elvis in Germany where they were both stationed in the army. They became good friends and when they were discharged Elvis offered my dad a job. After thinking about it (for about 10 seconds!) my dad accepted and stopped by his hometown in Chicago before moving to Memphis with Elvis.
Soon after, my dad was with Elvis in Las Vegas, where he met my mother. She was from St. Louis, Mo. and had won a trip to Vegas after winning a beauty pageant. She was working in a show at the Sands Hotel when she was spotted by my dad. Soon they were married and my sister Debbie was born in October 1962.
Priscilla moved to Graceland later in 1962 and she and my mother soon became friends. Three and a half years passed and I was born in March 1966.
Elvis and Priscilla married on May 1st 1967, and Lisa Marie Presley was born 9 months to the day later the February 1, 1968.
Being a wife in the Memphis Mafia, as Elvis and his group were known, was a lonely proposition. The men toured, made movies, and vacationed without the wives quite a bit. My mom and Priscilla and Sandy, another "mafia" girlfriend, spent a lot of time together. It was convenient for them to keep the Debbie, Lisa and I together, and they didn't have many friends outside the group. We spent the days at Graceland when we were in Memphis or at Elvis' house's in LA, swimming, sunning and hanging out.

February 2005, I did a search for my name and found some very interesting thngs. First I didn't realize that there was such controversy and mystery surrounding me! In order to set things straight, I would like you to know that I am not Lisa's double. The Lisa Presley that you see on TV etc is the real thing and always has been. Although Lisa and I can look similar in some photos, we are truly two separate people and have always gone by our own born identities! The reason that there are no recent photos of me is because I have not posted any! The photo from the Rona Barrett Magazine in 1973 has the following people in the following order from top to bottom: Dr Nick, my sister Debbie Esposito, Linda Thompson, Lisa, on my mom's lap, Joan Esposito, and then me. And yes, I am improperly named as Lisa and circled in the photo. The magazine did not bring the picture to us and ask for the names and positions of the people in the photo, they made a mistake!!!! Whoopppiii!!! Anyone that cannot look at a photo of Lisa Marie Presley and hear her sing, that does not believe that she is Elvis' daughter is not a true Elvis fan. Lastly, the reason that I have not done a lot with this web site is because there are plenty of sites out there that have dedicated fans that do a great job. Frankly, I don't have the time to spend updating, and I don't see any reason to re-report things that are elsewhere. Thanks... Cindy
