Zoa is a contemporary Christian band formed around 1989 with the call and mission of spreading the Good News of the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ to the unchurched, and to bring encouragement and hope to the body of Christ. We have an alternative to classic rock style, but not heavy metal. Since are inception we have kept faithful to our call and each of the members is growing disciple of Jesus. We have two licensed ministers in the band and all of us enjoy being with each as friends as well as partners in the activities of Zoa. We meet together on a monthly basis with our wives and children for fellowship and lift the up needs and concerns of the ministry. Family holds a high priority for each of us.

Some of our notable accomplishments have been to produce two compact disc of original music which have been well received well here and parts of Europe. In the liner jackets of each of the CDs are the words to songs and the scripture reference for each to help the listener see relevance the songs have to scripture. We toured the Netherlands in 1994.

Our Greatest joys is to see people make a commitment to our Lord. We have had the privilege of seeing many, many people, both young and old, come to Jesus. One particular weekend we were amazed as 52 young people came forward at the altar call and give their life to the Lord. We have a performance agreement which make the promoters of our concerts committed to follow up of those that responded at the alter so the enemy doses not steal away that which the spirit has shown in their hearts.

Zoa is translated as "living creatures" or "living ones" in the Bible. It is a Greek word found in the book of Revelation 7:11, to describe the angels that surround God's throne. Their purpose is to give glory and honor to God.
