Bailando Desnudo
is the premiere Cincinnati based Afro-Caribbean band, playing such styles
as salsa, bomba, plena, merengue, soca, and reggae. This five member group
can be found playing five to six nights a week it the midwest and eastern
United States. The band performs to a culturally diverse audience, and
takes pride in bringing people together.
1997, (in which
the band worked 247 dates) marked the release of the band's first self-produced
Compact Disc. Blending the music of Spanish and English speaking islands
of the caribbean with their own intuition, Bailando Desnudo has created
a new and unique sound while maintaining certain traditions.
Sound
files for the Bailando Desnudo CD are in MP3 format. The files are larger
than RealAudio files but the sound quality is far superior. So please take
the extra time in downloading to experience the music the way it was meant
to be heard. If you do not have an MP3 player, here is a shareware version
of winamp (.zip file). It works and looks great! Just download the music
files to a folder of your hard drive (save them with the .mp3 extention),
click on them and cd quality sound is yours!
