Other little
we provide...
At Cornerstone, we know it's important for our boarders to feel appriciated. And that's why we've decided to add the following things to our stables to make you and your equine(s) happy!
- Do you hate bringing home all those blankets, coolers, wraps, and saddle pads to wash? Well you don't have to anymore! We've added a washer and a dryer to the tack room so you can wash them right here!
- Upon boarding with us, each boarder recieves a box of sugar cubes, a bag of carrots, and a show cooler in CEC's colors!
- Every month, we hold a barbeque for our boarders, students, employees, and other friends. There you can also compete in the gymkhana, too! The cost is free to all!
- Our tack rooms are heated for winter use
- The office is air-conditioned and heated so you can come in and warm up or cool down after a long ride...
- Soda machines are located in each tack room so you *always* have something to drink!
Equine Therapy Program:
Our horses (and yours!) are important to us, so we make sure they get the best of care possible. This means that all horses in the retirement/therapy barn get special physical therapy, equine massage, carrots and apples, and LOTS of TLC by our own Equine Therapist, Alex Ford. If you would like to have her work with your horse if it is not located in the retirement/injury barn, then please let her know by emailing cornerstone_eq@hotmail.com with the subject line of:
Alex-ET (Equine Therapy). Alex makes daily rounds of the barn and the other horses she visits, and for those who need to recouperate, she brings them back with the help of our special Equine Swimming pool, which has a total depth of 15 feet on one side, and on the lower side, it has a depth of only 2 feet. The pool is used for therapy treatments only!!! Also included in the therapy barn/building is an equine treadmill...also exclsively for use with the program.
