Never Look Back
Someone watching me from afar
Knowing that I feel the same
I hope that one day things go back,
To the way it was for us
I turn away and never look back
I look beyond who you are
I try to find the person inside
You hide the love you feel within
It will never go back again

Sometimes I lie awake at night
Wishing my dreams were real
Then I look out at the sky
and realize they are just dreams
And I close my eyes and never open them again.
The Sky
The sky just looks so vast and beautiful.
I look into it at night and see your loving face.
I smile back and we are one.
You look so peaceful as you clasp my hand.
I look into the sky again.
The stars are glowing bright.
The brightness of them burns my eyes.
They show me the way home.
Hear You Say Those Very Words
Turn around and look at me.
Open your eyes to finally see
My feelings for you will always be there
Even under the magic of your stare.
I always hope and I always dream
Looking at things the way they seem.
Then I finally close my eyes
To the things I truly despise
And I turn and look away
And know I’ll never hear you say I love you.

Why?
Love is such a hard thing to find.
But why does it so with you?
Where?
In my heart you will always be.
So where are you when I’m alone?
When?
There was a time I felt so different.
Just when was it that my life changed?
Who?
I thought you were so kind and caring.
Who are you now?
What?
Things happened and now you’ve changed.
What did I do to you that was so wrong?
How?
Knowing this I still love you.
How can you break my heart so easily?
