Polyamory is a form of responsible non-monogamy where a family may consist of more than two adults. It is not swinging nor is it a way to get free sex. Polyamory provides a number of benefits including a larger resource base, better childcare and the meeting of more needs for each individual. It is, however, not for everyone as the number of relationships increases dramatically with the number of people involved.
