This site is intended as a a link for all those students that attended St Aloysius College B'Kara Malta year ending 1977-1978.

I will be updating this site regularly and woul very much appreciate that all correspondence is mailed to myself Louis Pace email pl@waldonet.net.mt.

I will try and pass on any news and wereabouts of class mates and any activities being organised.

On the 2nd  October  1998 our class held a reunion to commemorate  our 20th anniversary of finishing our secondary education at St. Aloysius. This was an occasion that required a great deal of preparation due to the fact that as time goes by people move allot and several of us a working overseas.
With the help of Joe Naudi Montaldo, Tonio Darmanin and myself we succeeded in in contacting over ninety past students, and as can be expected the evening was a great success.

The evening commenced with a mass held at the College Chapel mass concelebrated by Fr Wirth, Fr Marcello Ghirlando, and Fr Gordon Refalo the last two being fellow students, after a reception was held at the new sports complex in the outer ground.

The atmosphere was that of everyone trying to catch up on past friendships, and obviously some usual pranks, as expected.

Finally through generosity of all present we were able to make three generous, one towards the sports complex, the other to the Holy Family Home for the elderly in Naxxar and finally a donation IBIC an association for brain injured children.

This was a memorable evening for everyone who attended.
 

On the occasion of the 25th Anniversary a reunion was held on the 5th December 2003 at Villa Marie Therese at St Julians, the evening turned out to be an evening to remember with a turnout of around 70 people.The reception commenced at around 8.00pm and all those that attended had a good time catching on old times and updating what is happening with their lives today. This year's reunion had a special meaning for all of us, with the presence of Manuel Longo, unfortinutally Manuel had a severe stroke that left him paralised through out most of his body, we were honoured to have him with us as his ditermination to to overcome his severe disability was an insperation to all present. A collective effort was made in order to assist Manuel circum part of his disability and arrangements were made to purchase a device that will allow him to communicate. A request for donations was made and the outcome was very promising, infact the equipment was ordered and will be delivered in tha near future together with a motorised chair that was purchased by the hospital, a heartful thank you to ALL. At this point I must thank Tonio Darmanin and Joe Naudi Montaldo for their collective effort to make this evening possible. One must appreciate that to organise an event like this takes time and perseverience considering that 25 years passed and everyone moves around according to job necessities. I hope that this home page will allow us to keep in touch and any future events will be made known directly or on the page itself.
