On September 11, 1996, the Southern Pacific Transportation Company merged with the Union Pacific Railroad. My layout is based on the merger that never happened. On my layout the Old and Friendly SP is alive and well today and the West still has three Class One's. With that said enjoy the site, the layout has yet to be built because I am still in college and do not have the space or the money and time to build one.
