I chose the handle PawQueen because of my love for animals and would love to have an island full of all animals, most particularly dogs, but just about all would be welcome, and I would love and spoil them all and be Queen of the Pawed Ones! *G*

Well, since you are here, you probably want to know something about me! My interests include music, art, animals, cooking, reading, writing, crafts, anything creative really. I am an animal lover/advocate, and my interests in domestic violence and developmental disabilities stem from that fact that I once was a victim of domestic violence and my brother was profoundly mentally retarded. Please, those of you who visit my homepage, educate yourselves on both these topics! The first steps to prevention and handling these issues effectively is with education! Free your mind and enlighten it!
I am really a music NUT! I am a former singer in a rock and roll band (13 yrs.!), and though I still do sing ocassionally, it's no longer on a regular basis. My private collection of cd's, cassette tapes, and yes, even old albums is huge! I could go into business as a dj! I also am a proud owner of an Apple Ipod and absolutely LOVE IT! I miss singing on a regular basis, but the lifestyle got to be just too much.
Actually I am a MUTT! I am (ready?) Polish, Irish, German, Russian, British, French, Scottish...melting pot? Baby, that's ME!!! I am five foot four, 116 lbs., and I have had blonde hair (now light brown) and blue eyes. Scroll down and click on My Picture Page to catch a glimpse of me. *S*

I try to get along with everyone, and my best trait, I feel, is caring deeply about people and important issues.
My worst trait is being a very emotional person, sometimes too much so!

Some of my favorites include Pearl Jam, Queen, Janis Joplin, Dave Matthews Band, Melissa Etheridge, Prince/The Artist, Lenny Kravitz, Nickelback, Elton John, Van Halen, Creed, Bush, Gin Blossoms, Puddle of Mud, B-52's, Aerosmith, Amanda Marshall, Clay Aiken, Joe Bonassara, Pink Floyd....way too many to mention.... oh hell,
