GORD'S PAGE.

Here's my page that has everything from guns, photography, jokes and politics. Since I rarely update, this guy has remained the work of a bored teenager who wanted to fill his own a little bit of the web. You will find that it's a jumble due to my less than effective homepage making skills, and limited constructing time, but I hope you enjoy it! Actually considering the pain in the ass this thing was.

I live in Southern British Columbia, Canada, and am blessed to be married to a beautiful girl. I am a lucky man! I am 23 years old, a Christan with conservative opinions who sadly has little patience for BS (especially liberal left wingers), although I try to be loving and understanding as it is only fair. Outdoors is a big interest of mine.

School: I am in BCIT studying Resource Management.

Work Plans: Work full time as Assistant Manager to park system, then see what opportunities arrise to advance my career.

Work: I work for our local district as a park ranger. Full time in the Summer, part time during school. This job involves overseeing the grunts doing park maintanence (Im not cruel, I do my share though) I patrol the parks in my area to ensure they are safe, and to enforce the rules.

Reading: When I have time to read, I read anything but romances. I'll save those for when I'm an old man. My latest favorite books are Stephen King's Dark Tower series. I have read all four of the series and am eagerly waiting the fifth. Most of the others that Stephen King has wrote were good as well. Other authors I like are: Stephen Hunter, Point of Impact was good. Tom Clancy novels on war and polical intregue. Good reads for wet boring days. Dean Kootz has a talent for horror stories. I just finished TICK TOCK. A real good book with quite a few laughs Check this one out if you are looking for a good book to read. I recently finished a couple of Robert Ruark books too. Great reads for outdoor enthusiasts.

SPORTS: I like sports and have played a ton of different ones. I enjoy softball , badminton (some say its a wimpy game...its not...especially if I am playing against Asians, karate, I earned a brown belt. Although I dont train at the moment, I intend to go back and work on the black belt, time permitting. I go to the gym regularly to keep the weight up. Golf is done on a limited basis (its a stupid game really.) I play ice hockey in the winter like a good Canadian. I enjoy target shooting a lot. I do skeet shooting at the game club, use the rifle range and shoot pistol. Lots of quality fun.

My ride.

This is my car (1986 Honda Prelude. Note fancy rims and cool guy standing next to car :) ) Not much good for the back-roads, although I do take it fishing on the easier roads, and its trunk has seen the fruits of many successful trips. It is much nicer to drive on the highways than my previous little 4x4 truck and the women paid it more attention, but now that Im married, I dont care. Weird how that happens. :) Anyway, great car, and I love it a lot.
