Once upon a summer's eve
Beneath a starlit sky
A dream, my mind began to weave
From thoughts of you and I.
In the dream, we sought and found
A quiet...peaceful place
Where we could lay on moonlit ground
Together...face to face.
As our lips and bodies merged
In passion's ecstasy,
We loved as our desires urged
And found our destiny.
Wordless vows we took that night
To love whene'er we may...
'Twas then the lovely dream took flight
...and left me in dismay.
Surely dreams will come again
