IBM Global Services / GXS via Infinite Computer Solutions, Tampa, FL July 2000 - Present

eCommerce Enablement Team
  • Conducted connectivity testing and enablement of new customers to the IBM/GXS network using IBM products as well as multiple third party solutions
  • Helped IBM/GXS business partners transmit EDI and non-EDI data via IP Dial, SecureFTP, AS1 (SMTP), AS2 (HTTPS), and legacy connections
  • Extensive troubleshooting, team cooperation, and testing of customer firewalls and client certificates to help resolve connectivity issues
  • Direct contact with IBM Key Accounts such as WalMart, Ford, Discover, Chrysler, Bank of America, Honda, and Sears to allow traffic with their many business partners

    Account Reconciliation / Data Processing
  • Reconciliation of escrow and title indemnity accounts, including researching transactions and dispersing checks to balance files
  • Remote retrieval of account data from branch offices via pcAnywhere. That data was used to detect fraudulent checks
  • Responsible for keeping branch offices supplied with escrow checks, and providing copies of posted checks when necessary
  • Performed daily bank account transactions including online wire transfers, stop payments, and check verifications

  • Worked at 4 different Babbage’s/Software Etc. locations, being promoted from Sales Associate to Store Manager
