A Tribute to Michelle Kwan

Michelle Kwan: Always a winner

She is grace and beauty as she skates across the ice. With her graceful and artistic choreography and beautiful costumes, Michelle silences all who watch her in admiration. As she performs each jump, spin, and turn with perfect technique, no one moves a muscle. She makes it look so effortless, but the level Michelle is on took years of hard work, self-discipline, and dedication. They watch Michelle perform each technique as if she had been doing it all of her life. Her triple salchow triple toeloop combination makes it look as if she is floating on air. When Michelle performs her last element and goes into one last laback spin, the audience is on their feet. Michelle smiles at the audience and excepts flowers from admirers. As the score comes up, the outcome is clear. Michelle is on top. No matter what she does, I will always admire Michelle Kwan. I was ecstatic as I sat and watched Michelle ovetake Tara Lipinski to win the 1998 US Nationals!!! She recieved 8 perfect sixes in both her short and long programs. Congrats on winning the silver medal in the Olympics Michelle! Congratulations in winning gold in the World Championships and Goodwill games!!!
