For those of you who have a love of the sea and an appreciation of the sailor's art,
I hope you will enjoy my knotwork and be inspired to create some of your own.
I thank those of you who have contacted me wanting to buy a piece of my knotwork, unfortunately, I do not sell my knotwork it is strictly a hobby.
Should you be interested in creating some of your own nautical art or just learning some practical knots the best source for knotwork that I have found is "The Ashley Book of Knots" by Clifford Ashley. It truly is a wealth of information and considered by many to be the bible of knotting. For those of you who have only a project or two in mind, such as a thump mat or bell rope, then I would recommend "The Marlinspike Sailor" by Hervey Garrett Smith.
