"PROVIDING ACCURATE AND RELIABLE INFORMATION SINCE 1997"

THE FIFTH EDITION OF THE GUIDE IS NOW AVAILABLE FOR A LIMITED TIME

Copies of the Fifth Edition (Version 5.3, Augmented) are currently available on a flash drive. Ownership of the GUIDE provides membership in ANTIQUE GLASSWORKS. This enables the recipient to access the GUIDE'S Homepage and through it to update the GUIDE at will; thus, it is never out-of-date. In addition the AG member can purchase examples of quality cut glass, such as the plates illustrated in this file. The price of the flash drive is $8.00 which covers its 1GB capacity, the complete contents of the GUIDE (about 90MB), and packaging and shipping costs. Please contact the writer for additional information.

Among the Items for Sale by ANTIQUE GLASSWORKS Here in Corning Are These Two Plates. Sale Items Are Available Only to AG Members and Can Not Be Shipped. (Potential buyers often use local surrogates.)

Shown: Two 7"D dessert plates cut by T. G. Hawkes & Company in the early to mid 1890s, together with a modern Chinese cut-glass paperweight of optic lead glass. The plates, in the Venetian and Gladys patterns, are in excellent condition and are typically priced at $250 and $125, respectively. The Venetian pattern is considered rare.

The completely faceted paperweight is not for sale by AG but is widely available nationally, usually for $10 to $20, depending upon its size; discounts are usually offered. This contemporary weight is from China and is being made in various colors; quality is high (Image: JMH).
