Silence of Rhyme

The days they come and the days they go.
Sometimes fast,and sometimes slow.

They drift in and they drift out,
On silent wings there is no doubt.

There is a time in all our lives,
that our hearts will cry.

And the rhymes will cease,
and the heart wont beat.

The rhyme is over,
it's all turned to clover.

SWEET EMBRACE

My soul sings the sad song
of the hours of a
time that is gone.

I feel it in the darkest
parts of my being
that no one sees.

My arms long for
the sweet embrace
that can never be.

I try to hide from
all the darkest of pain
and all that with it comes.

Spirits sing to me
while I am in
their sweet embrace.

Know that from
you I will always
hide my face.

The sweetest embrace
is the one that
I can never ever taste.
