Welcome to the first page (but no longer the only one; go and see Michael's page) on the Internet dedicated to that wonderful author, M.M. Kaye. I urge everyone new to her visiting here to read about M.M. Kaye and see a picture of her. But, for those of you who already are quite aware of this brilliant writer, keep on going! I have written up some short reviews on some of her books that I have read and loved. I urge you to read them as well, because they are truly wonderful. Enjoy your stay, and remember that I always welcome feedback. Thank you! I hope you enjoy the new look! The picture of the baby down the side of the page is from "The Ordinary Princess" - just an example of the brilliant illustrations M. M. Kaye drew to go along with her enchanting story.

*** January 29, 2007: Updates at last! You will note below that there is a new link - M. M. Kaye's Obituary. A kind reader mailed me his clipping which was scanned and transcribed. Another new addition is three new book reviews on the Recommended Reading portion of the site. Please do keep those recommendations coming, I receive regular requests for them! Thank you very much for your continued support.
*** August 3, 2006: I am sorry for the lull in updates of late; life has intervened. Since the last update I have graduated from McMaster University with a degree in English (and a minor in History), moved, betrothed myself to a wonderful man, and in September I will be attending Teacher's College at the University of Toronto. However, there is news: a kind reader has sent me his original copy of Ms. Kaye's obituary from The Times so I could scan it and display it on this website. Look for that in the upcoming week or two!
*** December 17, 2004: I urge all of you English fans to go and see The Far Pavilion Musical! I am very jealous of any of you who can see it, so let's make it a huge success so they can bring it to Canada. Click on the poster below to go to the official page:

*** July 21, 2004: Another new mail address for you to direct your mail to: sarah.olmsted@gmail.com. I'm trying to phase out my old server since it has been extremely unreliable, and I apologize to those of you who have written and received no reply.
*** Jan 30, 2004: RIP M.M. KAYE! I am very sad to announce that Ms. Kaye is no longer with us. A very kind gentleman wrote me an e-mail to let me know she died on January 29 around 7:30 pm. Ms. Kaye will be sadly missed by all the people whose lives she enriched. My condolances go to her family, and my mother sends her family her best wishes in this time of sorrow.
