Days may be bad and days may be worse, and these recent days have certainly been of the latter kind for all of us hoping for peace in the Middle East.

But, in an attempt to cheer you up a little anyway, I offer you this unfortunately no longer very true story about the harsh living conditions for us Jews up in distant Scandinavia, where I happen to be planted deep into the frozen earth.
Just to show you that you're not alone with your tough luck. Shared misery may be almost half a pleasure. And, as the story goes to show, all is well that ends well. Enjoy!
