COMPUTRON, Philippine Science High School's premier computer
society, has elected its new batch of officers for the school
year 1997-1998. Among the officers is a two-time International
Software Competition veteran is Anna Marsaille Gabutero.
The Philippine Team is now undergoing the final stages of its
training for the 1997 New Delhi International Software
Competition to be held on December 3-6, 1997. The trainers are
Michael Daniel Samson, a 1994 ISC contestant and a 1995 IMO
participant, and Christopher Benedict Manning. Heading the
training are Colonel Alfonso Rivera and Sonia Javier. Philippine
Computer Society is the sponsoring body of this training.
One of the scheduled activities of COMPUTRON is holding an
elimination round for the next PSHS PC Team for the next
National Programming Competition.
