The Sierra Foothills Rose Society, Inc. is a non-profit educational organization affiliated with the American Rose Society. The goals of the Society are to encourage and educate the public in growing and exhibiting roses.
The Sierra Foothills Rose Society meets the first Thursday of each month, except July and August at 7:30 P.M. at the St. Marks Lutheran Church, 7869 Kingswood Dr. Citrus Heights, CA. Meetings include a short business meeting, cultural tips from the Society's Consulting Rosarians, exhibition tips through a monthly Little Rose Show and interesting programs on rose culture by knowledgeable guest speakers. Refreshments are served by members of the society at every meeting. Visitors are always welcomed. The 2001-2002 schedule of rose activities and events lists all activities, programs, by the Sierra Foothills Rose Society and nearby rose societies.
