Hello, my name is Candice. I am currently a student at Texas A&M University - Corpus Christi.
At Texas A&M, I am involved with the Texas Marine Mammal Stranding Network. The Texas Marine Mammal Stranding Network (TMMSN) is a volunteer non-profit organization dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, release, and research of marine mammals. There are six network regions including Sabine Pass, Galveston, Port O'Connor, Port Aransas, Corpus Christi, and South Padre Island.
If you see a stranded or beached marine mammal on the Texas Gulf of Mexico Coast Line, please call .
If you see a injured or stranded sea turtle or bird in the Port Aransas or Corpus Christi area, please call Tony Amos and/or Andi Wickham at 361-749-6793.
I am currently the Secretary of the TMMSN - Club at Texas A&M University at Corpus Christi. I am also the Assistant Internet Coordinator of our Webpage. If you would like more information about what we do in our club and/or what Galveston does, please feel free to access their home pages at the links below. You can also e-mail me!
I am also involved in other Clubs on campus, including the Science Club, the Environmental Science Society, the Chemistry Club, and the Recycling Committee. If you would like any information on the above clubs, feel free to send me an e-mail.
Don't forget to take a look at my other pages! I have a lot and they are all worth while to look at.
