"Leggs"

This is my horse, Leggs. 
He is a four year old Tennessee Walking horse.

Leggs came to live with my husband and I in July 1998.  In October of that year, he was diagnosed with a neurological disease called Equine Protozoal Myeloencephalitis.  We have worked very hard to help him fight this terrible and often fatal disease.

I am proud to announce that he is doing good and is well on his way to a healthy, happy life.  We enjoy riding thru the fields and pastures near our barn and we take trips to the lake in our new trailer almost every weekend.

Fighting EPM is difficult, but every minute, every tear, and every sleepless night is worth it.
