Harley Doggison-"Harley"

I am a  black/tan A.K.C. Rottweiler.  I live in the Phoenix, AZ area. Let me tell you with my black coat, it gets down right HOT! But my owner bought me a pool that I can play in. Anyway, until my owner learns how to put a picture up, you'll just have to believe me that I'm cute!!

HI!! My name is Lori. I am a telecommunications Jr. Engineer. This is my first page ever-so as I learn how to do these check back! I have always loved animals-ever since I wanted to keep a horse in the bathtub when I was little.  However, it hasn't been until recent that I have been able to own and love a little more variety of animals. My one true friend has always been and probably always be my dog.

For those of you who know what it means to have a friend that loves you unconditionally, no matter what, and can understand (yes I do believe that they can understand) you. You probably have/have had a dog (or it maybe another animal).

I have had many friends over the years-miniature dachsunds, labs, dobermans, rotts, and a mutt. Just recently, I've set up a fishtank, had mice, cats, and a ferret.

Rottweilers have always been portrayed in the past years as "killers"-WRONG!!
Don't these people ever research the circumstances behind these stories as far as the dog is concerned??
I have had 2 Rotts in my life so far and if you raise them as family, then they turn out to be family.

Did you know that the docked tails of the Rottweiler were intended for security purposes? The tails were docked so that if a person were to look over a fence, etc. and saw the dog, they couldn't tell if it was happy or not.
