Hi! My name is DominO.

This is my web page that my mommy made for me because she cares about me and other White Boxers like myself.

How I came to live with my Mom.

One day,   my owner called my Mom and asked her if she
would like to adopt a White Boxer. Mom and Dad were
still sad about losing Molly, another boxer.  Molly had been gone for two years but they missed her so much. Molly is waiting at Rainbow Bridge.

Mom wanted me right away but when she asked Dad,  he
wasn't to sure about it.   Dad knew that Mom wanted me
so they decided to adopt me.

It was a few day's later they my owner delivered me to my
new home. Mom said that the day that they were expecting me,  she was very nervous and excited.  As my owner pulled up into the driveway, there was all my new family: three two legged kid's and my new Mom & Dad.    Mom had tears in her eyes as I was handed to her.  They showed me so much love!  And . . .  I had a real nice fluffy blanket and all the toys that any pup would ever want!

My Mom was very protective over me when she introduced me to all the four legged clan.   Which included Odie a Pit bull mix , Trails a wolf shepherd, {she is my four legged foster Mom,  she is also very protective over me} AND
The Cat's. . . . they were the hardest to get to know.  For
some reason every time I would get close to them,  they
would fluff up and then slap at me. Well . . .  that  all
changed real fast !  Now they sleep with me and love me
also.

Mom take's me everywhere with her.   I love to ride in the
car.  When she gets out,  I sit in the driver's seat and when
people pass by they just can't help themselves, they have
to smile.

My Grandma lived in a seniors citizen complex and when
we would go over and visit her,  all the other resident's
would pet me and I would make them Happy.   I was
special to my Grandma too and she was special to me.
Grandma passed away this year {1998}and Mom and I miss her
very much. You know, from knowing my grandma I am a
better Pup ;*]P

No idea

Mom had never heard of a White Boxer before. So when she got the call from their friends and  he called me a rare White Boxer she had no idea about any of the controversy over the coat colors of Boxers. The color of my coat did not make a difference to her all she cared about was adopting a Boxer Baby.

Reality

I am also a lucky Pup to have such a loving family.
Wish all of the White Boxer Pups could have a family like mine. Reality is that some Breeders cull  these precious babies. Mom says that she is glad that the breeders that have my four legged Mom & Dad found home's for their White Angels that were in the litter. The color of our coats don't matter. Our Hearts are just as big and we love just as much. I feel real sorry for the Breeders that Cull their White Angels that their Bitch throws because you know the saying what goes around comes around.

Mom in no way condones the breeding of White Boxers. Twenty percent of all Boxers born are born White and the White Angels that are born in these  litters need to be given  or sold to responsible families that will neuter or spay their precious Whites. Logic

I have read this saying on the White Boxer List {WBL}.
IF YOU BREED, YOU MUST RESCUE WHAT OTHERS HAVE FORGOTTEN.
Now how true is that statement? If you would like to join The White Boxer Mailing list click here

Allergies

Yes I have some allergies. One thing that Mom knows for sure is that I am allergic to freshly mowed grass, the funny thing is when they get the lawn mower out I go to the door to be let in. I guess that makes me a pretty smart boy! In the summer time I have to take Benadryl everyday so I won't break out {I get these bumps on my back and then they burst open}, when this happens I have to go and visit the Vet and then they shave my back and give me a shot and some antibiotic cream. Sometimes  when I start to break out Mom will give me an Oatmeal bath {yes the Quaker Oatmeal kind} I guess it isn't that bad because oatmeal is one of my favorite things to eat so while Mom is putting the oatmeal all over me I am eating it. Yummie!

Questions & Comments

If you have questions or Comment please send them to me/my Mom. When I receive any I will post them on a page with e-mail addresses so you and I can respond to them ~Thanks Again for visiting~.
